Jonathan is a research technologist in the Laboratories of Computational Neuroimaging (LCN), specifically the NeuroImaging of Coma and Consciousness (NICC) lab, the Laboratory for Ex vivo Modeling of Neuroanatomy (LEMoN), and the Aganj lab. He is responsible for analyzing data for multiple projects primarily using in-vivo and ex-vivo MRI for improving neuroimaging tools such as brain atlases, automatic image segmentation, and multimodal image registration. Additionally, imaging data is being used to answer questions about consciousness and how traumatic brain injury presents in brain connectivity. Apart from medical imaging Jonathan has interests in computer vision broadly, art, and coffee.
Before joining the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Jonathan worked at Florida International University’s Applied Research Center on projects investigating nuclear waste treatment for the Department of Energy’s Hanford site.
