Ting is interested in brain microstructure imaging using diffusion and relaxometry MRI. The primary objective of microstructure imaging is to accurately measure cellular organization of brain tissue, ensuring high sensitivity and specificity. Achieving this goal invloves considerations from data acquisition, microstructure modelling and parameter estimation. Ting is working on these research areas to derive biologically meaningful measures to study the brain, with a particular interest in investigating neurodevelopmental questions.
